    My Swarovski EL 8.5x42 Review

I totally agree with all that you have stated except my 8.5x32 Els are perfectly in focus to the very edge of view. I often used them for astronomy and star clusters and nebulae are clear all the way to the edge of view. I love these and they were my all time favorites!

Technical description of this behaviour of my Swarovski 8x56?

I have the Swarovski 8x42 EL model and I know what you are taking about. But.... when they are all the way in your eyelashes can touch the glass and leave oil marks. That all the way in position is actually for eye glass users.

    My Swarovski EL 8.5x42 Review

I explored that avenue, due to the cost and other medical issues, I cannot get the cataract removed. That is why I would accept a good spotter in partial trade. Thanks though for the advice.

Which binoculars are less stressfull for the eyes?

I am selling my Swarovski 8.5x42 bins. They are like new, I have the original box, paperwork and carry bag. I don't think these can be beat, check online and I do believe they are the best. I would sell them for $1500 including shipping conus. If not perfect, money back. Attachments IMG_7329...

    My Swarovski EL 8.5x42 Review

I am 75 years old and have developed a cataract mostly on my right eye. My 8.5x42 Swarovskis have been the best money I ever spent of a pair of binoculars. Now I can't benefit from using two eyes so I will be selling mine and getting a spotting scope. I have owned Zeiss and they are great but...

Hi, I also have a Zeiss 5x10 and love it! I have had it for 3 years. I have used it on stars as well as the moon and I find it works well in the night as it does increase light on any object. If you can see it with your eyes, this monocular will magnify and clarify what ever it is.
