    Different scope for birds and for stars?

    FWIW, I like using small refractor telescopes for astronomy. For me having the 90-degree diagonal is essential. I can't use 45-degree ones and definitely not straight-through. I'd much rather use a 90-degee angle diagonal for watching shorebirds than use a 45-degree angle for astronomy. Most...
