    I entered a area with lots of green cover in search of some surprise birds with one of my senior friend. We found this fellow on ground. Later villagers nearby warned us not to venture that area as the place is home to Indian Russell's viper !!

    A prized capture for me. Red Avadavat , a sparrow sized beautiful bird come in small numbers during breeding season in nearby grasslands. Taken near Barasat, West Bengal, India.

    Saw a flock of griffon circling while trekking up towards Khumjung Village [alt 3790m], inside Sagarmatha National Park, Nepal. At a first glance thought it to be himalayan griffon but later it turned out to be Eurasian Griffon.

    Himalayan Monal is an exotic wonder from Nature. This particular foraging male I found at lower Namche village , inside Sagarmatha National Park , in Nepal at an altitude of 3440m on 13th Nov 2014.
