    I’ve only seen mention of the focus knob but have had no problems with mine yet. Still I feel the Ultravid to be a bit more robust and it’s probably true that you’d be best off getting one of each. : )

    Long enough to wear over a t-shirt and under a parka even, but probably not for the outside of a jacket, let alone a winter coat.

    I remember thinking they’d be terrible for front carry, but fortunately I do cross carry and they work with no issues when worn that way.

    Partially so I can leave them in different places, prefer the BL most of the time, but definitely the BR for cold places. Then also, found a good deal on a couple as well.

    That’s all fairly accurate and also why I tend to think of the Curio as a better choice for many, though not all. I like them a lot and they became my favored daily binocular for a brief term before being once again replaced by the little Ultravids, which are still to this day the only binocular...
