Pictures taken August 2018, Old Moor Reserve Yorkshire, England
Have 2 Sandpipers and need help with ID
The one on the ground I think is Green Sandpiper and the flying one a Wood Sandpiper. Not totally sure, any help appreciated.
Apologies for poor photo and huge crop. Saw this bird in the distance and missed the down beat of wings... thought Buzzard but the grey head gave me some doubt.
Picture taken on 08/10/18 @ 11.00am. Bird was making way upwind from lower area towards top of hills and onto moorland.
Wales UK normal stonechat or something different?
Spotted back in June 2017 at South Stack Anglesey Wales. Was part of a small group in gorse bushes. There were regular stonechats about I was just struck by the strong colours on this bird and the darker black head.
Long range shots of raptor that passed quickly overhead and into the distance
Taken September in the Peak District England....open high moorland
Fast flying...did not hover...swooped down to the moor...missed its target and then was gone
Apologies for the poor photo. My partner is in Holland at present and took this picture and is wondering what it is?
The picture was taken on 26/11/16 at a place called Meijendel on the north coast of Holland close to the Hauge.
