If they are not ready to release the photos, then just what is the purpose of releasing the press account?? I just don't get it!

Help in converting 35mm slides to digital

OK, it is going to take lots of time to do it myself, I know that. I'm just wanting to explore all of my options at this point, since I do not have a lot of extra money right now. So if I were to get it done somewhere, where is the best place to go? I'm not too keen on the idea of having them...

Help in converting 35mm slides to digital

Hi I just recently bought a cheap digital camera (40 dollars USA) and want to convert my thousands of 35mm and 126 slides to digital cd's. What is the cheapest way to do this since I do not have a scanner and I am on a very tight budget. I live in the USA. Can I do this using the cheap digital...

Mike Collins has submitted an inquiry to the Frontiers List about his video clips. This should be very interesting.

I have not been visiting any IBWO sites lately and to say that I'm now speechless is an understatement! My disappointment that someone whom I had respected would do something like this is beyond words. I hope and pray that this action does not permanently harm the search for living IBWO's...

The Class of 2008 begins training! http://operationmigration.org/Field_Journal.html It would be kinda nice to keep this thread on-going through the training and migration this year.

Comments such as the one below, made by you, are unnecessary and are nothing but a personal attack.

There is a way to expose fraud without resorting to personal attacks. Attack the subject matter, not the person!

Like I stated, the whole point was - just play nice - don't post cruel personal attacks!

The whole point behind this little exchange is: If you do not have real 'proof' that the bird in tmguy's photo is fake - then don't be so cruel to the the guy! Y'all play nice now.

    Ivory-billed Woodpecker (formerly updates)

Ok, I'll change my wording a little - same meaning: Although you may 'assume' it is a faked bird in the photo, using the criteria that has been presented in this thread, you cannot 'prove' anything.

You can not 'prove' that he 'faked evidence' anymore than the existence of the IBWO is 'proven' by what information has been released so far.

Why are you being so cruel to tmguy? Just because you don't agree with what he says regarding the IBWO does not give you the license to issue a personal attack against him.

All I was doing was taking a quote made by a skeptic and substituting one word - it was not meant as a statement of my beliefs. What I was trying to show, was that the original statement was as false as the above statement was. But I guess that whole point just did not come across to some. RE...

He is not asking you to prove that the IBWO is extinct and neither am I. I think that what he is after is to get you guys to admit that your skepticism is just another way to *believe*.

So Dave, are asking the skeptics to prove to you *Why* they are skeptical, is that your point?

The topic of the thread is the IBWO not Santa, Bigfoot or Nessy. You changed the subject, it is that simple.

Its very common for someone who feels backed into a corner to change the subject, which is what you just did Jane. And the answer to your question was posted on this board up-thread.
