Which Zoom Eyepiece for Kowa 663M Opticron SDLV3 or Baader Hyperion Mark IV

Thanks for the information. Can anyone speak to edge to edge clarity or sharpness of the Mark IV vs the SDLV3 or even a V2?

Which Zoom Eyepiece for Kowa 663M Opticron SDLV3 or Baader Hyperion Mark IV

So I am not a fan of the TE-9Z zoom eyepiece on my Kowa 663M. I think it could be so much better with an eyepiece with a wider field of view that doesn't have that feeling of looking down a barrel. I love the eye relief and picture from the 30x Wide 14WD eyepiece, but I need more magnification...

juv Wood Sandpiper & Duck species

That common teal looks darn near identical to a Green Wing Teal here in the Americas. I doubt a person could tell the difference.

    Kowa Genesis 8x33: Troubador's Review

Great review. I have the genesis 10.5x44 and they are a pure joy to look through. I've had them for years and still smile every time I bring them up to my eyes. These 8x33 have been on my radar for a couple years. May have to finally figure out how to get a pair.

    Victory pocket models updated!

I was one of these cases. I had the 8x20 Zeiss Victory. Used them for about 2 years and decided I hated them. I ended up selling them and don't miss them one bit.

    Kowa DA10 vs PA7 Stills

Good information, I am glad to see that my results of better images with a lens also matches your results. That merganser is nice, very well done for a spotting scope. I am improving, but a ways off from taking images that good.

    Kowa DA10 vs PA7 Stills

Just went through this exercise and this info may come in handy to someone. I have used both the PA7 and the DA10 with camera lens attached and get significantly better stills with the DA10 and a lens attached to the camera. The root of the issue for me is when there is no lens attached to my...
