    Hi Mike, I'd really like to have a gander through a pair of Noctivids, the new NL Pure. and perhaps some SF's too. I think it's finally starting to 'click'. That is - no one binocular will do it all. I might just have to save my pennies and start collecting the bloody things. :)

    Some interesting comments. Cheers everyone. Yeah, I had a feeling that my initial sense of awe was due to the steep increase in optical quality. And the magnification could have been part of it as well.
