    Eddie M. counted 101 Med. Gulls with Sue B. and I this evening, from Island Hide at Titchwell RSPB!!! I've never seen such a large number before! Cuckoo calling and I had fabulous views of 2 Turtle Doves at Choseley Drying Barns earlier on. Penny:girl:

    Wonderful afternoon at Burnham Overy Dunes and Gun Hill with Whinchat, Stonechats x 2, Willow Warblers x 3, Wheatears x 2, Spoonbills x 3 east, Lizard lounging in a privet bush, found by Andrew Bloomfield. But the highlight was 172 Ringed Plovers, 93 Sanderlings and 104 Dunlin standing together...

    Found a cracking male Redstart in the village car park at Holme at 6am, but then got booted out by a jealous Robin! Then later, a purring Turtle Dove at 7.10am. Full update on my blog. :girl:
