    I'm excited to say I spotted a Wood Thrush, which has been a goal for some time. I heard it off in the woods and pursued the sound of the song until I spotted it and got to watch it sing for a few minutes.

    I had a great little birding session this morning viewing several Cedar Waxwings, Carolinas Chickadees, a White-eyed Vireo, Tufted Titmouse, White-throated Sparrows, Northern Cardinals, Blue Jays, Red-Bellied Woodpeckers, a European Starling, and I think a Great Horned Owl, though I only saw it...
