    Military at their prime in the usual location in BBOWTland, as were the GBO and Fly. CSO just coming out. One Green Hairstreak. The Monkeys are just going over and not in very high numbers at the usual location in BBOWTland; but Lady x Monkey hybrid swarm is looking excellent - a few of those...

    Man are just starting to come out in Surrey now; but probably at least a week (more likely two) before they're at their best.

    Mils just starting to come into flower in Bucks, probably about two weeks away from their prime yet though. GWOs just starting to go over slightly in Oxon, but still spectacular! I found this one with another unusual lip variant - vaguely reminds me of Orchis papilionacea:

    Does anyone have a good publically accessible Green Winged site in Surrey they wouldn't mind sharing, please? Currently I drive to Bucks or Kent, and that's quite a long trip for something I feel I should be able to see much closer to home... PM's would be appreciated!
