Hi Seth Miller, nice of you to coming up with your expert opinion and seconding Daniel's remarks. I am an old member of Bird Bangladesh. But I always prefer to get expert opinion from global experts like you first from here before sharing there. Cheers :)
Dear Birders, requesting your kind support in identifying the species of the bird.
Recorded it today outskirt of Dhaka near some wetland area.
Thanks in advance
Saad
Respected Birders, recorded this bird today morning from outskirt of Dhaka, in open field area full of grassland. There a a couple and they with local house sparrows initially in a tree to pick berries. But distinguished dark colour of the pair clearly separates them from house sparrows...
Framed the raptor yesterday afternoon as it flew away from a hillside.
The distance was high for my lens and with a poor light condition.
Thanks in advance.
Saad
Dear Birders, shot the raptor yesterday from the forest of Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. The day was cloudy and lack of light made it very difficult to shot.
Thanks
Saad
Saw this bird many a times but this is the first time could get a shot.
Recorded on 27 Jan 2017 from a wetland at Srimangal, Moulvibazar, Bangladesh
Thanks
Saad
Though in the winter there are many different species of Eagles visit this area, there are two fish Eagles I've recorded from the area before. One is Phallas's and the other is Grey-headed.
Grey-headed is resident species.
