Hmm...Croaking Cisticola doesn't match the size. These were all smaller. Instinct tells me Levaillant's on 1 & 3 and Wailing on 2.
Thanks for the help, guys.
I had this in another thread under birds from South Africa. Sorry, I rarely post on Birdforum unless it's a real good photo or question.
So moderators, feel free to delete my topic there.
I need input on these Cisticolas. So far I've got all Levaillant's and Nr1 Wailing and the rest...
Hi,
A great site for up-to-date spotting: http://waarneming.nl/index.php
Two favourite spots very close to The Hague: http://www.vwgvlietland.nl/en/index.html and http://www.kustgids.nl/meijendel-en/index.html

Firecrest (Regulus ignicapillus)
Rather late than never they say.
I've had the priviledge to see all 3 but not in one place.
The Martial Eagle is all over the Kruger National Park. I've yet to visit and not see one. The African Crowned Eagle love frequenting the Sabie, Crocodile, Luvuvhu and Limpopo Rivers in the Kruger...
Nice meeting you here, Salamanda! I'm sure going to need some Saffie support.
I've been browsing the forum, catching up and I am impressed. Great job guys!
Hi there everybody.
I'm a keen fledgling birder. I currently live in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, South Africa. I will be immigrating to The Hague, Netherlands later in the year to join my husband.
Why am I here? I'm keen on learning any new bits that'll help me in identifying birds more accurately.
