    Wow you are right! The insistent rhythm of the calls did point in that direction after hearing them for hours. I checked out frog sounds and it's a Northern Spring Peeper. I also discovered I have been hearing Gray Treefrogs and mistaking the sounds for birds as well. Thanks!
