Can anyone recommend any good spots for birding in London and possiby wildlife photography?
I find Hampstead Heath pretty good for woodpeckers, there are some kestrals that are always present on the turret of the climbing wall at the north end of Clissold Park. I ve seen the odd sparrowhawk...
I got into wildlife photography just over 1 year ago using budget gear - Nikon D40 and a Sigma zoom lens. If anyone is interested, check out my bird set, click on 'set' and then 'slideshow' for best viewing:

Dear All, am going to the Camargue next month. Just wondered if anyone has any tips, good birding spots, etc... Also, what bird is this? Taken last summer in Namibia.
