    What attracts birds to your garden

    I'm wondering what it is that actually attracts birds into your garden in the first place, is it they fly over notice something interesting and venture in, is it a particular colour for some birds that grabs there interest to investigate closer, or is it like most humans that they notice others...

    wasps on my fruit/suet cake

    ok, made a mistake put out a fruit based suet cake in summer and now it's covered in wasps can't get near the thing long enough to get it down without getting stung, but i'm worried it could be harmful to any visiting birds, not that i have many at the moment, but even so,, if this is the case...
