    who's been eating my bird?

    Gents can anyone shine a light on this behaviour? Remnants of bird hooked over a twig, there are plenty of dove feathers and a wing on the ground about 2ft away. We get the occasional sparrow hawk. Thanks

    I saw this in me garden a few months ago, a bit fuzzy but I'm guessing its a female sparrowhawk. Obviously not an eagle, wife's idea of a joke:clap: Scoffing a blackbird.

    I often go down my garden to be confronted by a pile of feathers in a neat circle but no bird or remnant of one. Now and again I come across feathers with a beak and the odd leg, generally belonging to an unfortunate blackbird. I've seen a female sparrow hawk having a good feed now and again but...

    B (: Just enjoying a beer and looking out the window checking out the bird life. I live in a suburb with a lot of trees hence a lot of birds too. Some good, some bad.
