Anyone visiting to see the Hawfinch please respect the grounds and try not to disturb the Hawfinch which are very wary and easily disturbed. I would recommend...
I'll check through the original footage to see if there are any better shots for identification at those points. It's all still on my PC at the moment.
Thanks Salticus. I was just wondering about the sequence at 1:46 which shows two spiders meeting. Will they be male and female of the same species or are they different species altogether. If you haven't already tried you can get better picture quality by selecting 720 HD just under the screen...
Thanks
Thanks for the help guys. My spider knowledge isn't too good. I have a Collins field guide on Spiders but I'm not finding it to good for identification, but that's probably just me.
Here's a short video of a selection of spiders all filmed on the Witherslack Mosses at the top end of Morecambe Bay in South Cumbria.

I thought the music was rather apt. It's called Dragonfly by Snowflake.
On the bird front there 's a male hen harrier at Foulshaw...
Here's something to remind you of warmer times. All the footage was shot on the Witherslack Mosses at the top end of Morecambe Bay. Hope you enjoy it.
