Generally yes. Not entirely sure about their status in Fife though. I think many breeding birds and continental migrants move to coastal areas to winter.

I'm not entirely sure on distribution off the top of my head, but the last one made me think Crimson-winged Finch. Admittedly, I have no experience of Plain Mountain Finch.
Waxwings
I'm sure most of you will have had your fill of Waxwings this winter but just in case there is a big flock (difficult to count but at least fifty today) feeding around the car park at the Heigham Road end of Stafford St in Norwich.

Hmm... could be. Reed Warblers do mimick other species, some do it a lot. Singing from a reed bed. Greyish-brown primaries say Reed though there is a buffish tinge to the flanks. Hate doing these two on plumage. Will leave to the experts...
