    Whole peanut choking threat - myth or fact?

    Does anyone have a definitive answer to the often rumoured tale that if whole peanuts are fed to young birds it will harm them? Both views are on offer from various sources, but it would be nice to have some real evidence. I lean to the view that the parent birds are not that daft. Many thanks /

    Fat birds

    Am I over compensating for the cold weather? All my table feeding birds, Blackbirds, Thrushes, Robins especially are growing very round and fat, or is this possibly caused by something else? Could'nt be pregnant at this time of year, could they?
