    While driving along the Delaware river ( between NY state and Pennsylvania ) a bird flew into my car window , and yes the window was open . He ( or she ) allowed me to take a few photos while he gained his composure , I think he hit his head on the window jamb . Being more of a photographer...

    thanks That makes sense , it's mate was very plain looking a very light tan color . My first thought when I saw it was that it looked like a Mallard but its head wasn't green . Thanks for the help .
