A Ruff at the Flashes
It was Microwyred (Dave) and my lucky day. After a quiet snooze at the Moors we headed for the Flashes.

Whinchat
One of the two Whinchats seen by Dave (Microwyred) and me from the Water Rail Hide.
Also the Kingfisher showed around half a dozen times.

Great afternoon with plenty of banter and good...
Upton Youngsters
Another good day at Upton.
Attached a couple of shots of some the Upton youngsters.

Coot's Lunch
Thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's visit - great weather, friendly people and good to be able to put a few more faces to names (the birds were quite interesting as well |=)| )
Attached (I hope) a shot of a coot's lunch.

Just before 11.00 we (microwyred) saw redpolls (?) in the trees by and to the left of the east hide. This was the best shot I got ... if I manage to attach it|=)|
Been a day of putting names to faces - great to have met you all
Dave
I D please
I spent yesterday in the East Hide. Just after 07:00 I spotted these ducks. The light wasn't very good so didn't get a very good shot of them. I expect they are mallards or the like in disguise |:$| ... but just in case.
