I lean to Coopers, they are common around my neighborhood but I just can't be certain...how do I know i'm not seeing some Sharp-shinned hawks every once in awhile? He had just nailed a starling and was being mobbed by mockingbirds, blue jays, and boat-tailed grackles...the sun was setting, this...
pretty sure its an eastern kingbird, just need to confirmation to feel happy and whole again:

So many warblers flying around the last few days, got a lot of new birds on the list and couldn't be happier...well, I could if I could figure out these little things on my own but here I am again:
1. odd blackpoll maybe...
I believe this to be a Least Sandpiper...I hope I'm right:

Of course this guy set up in the one tree we couldn't get near at all...this was in Goodland, FL, right around The Little Bar. Didn't see any color on him but the light was pretty bad, he had a few friends with him too, sorry for the shite pictures...
Got a few new ones for me:
1. Blackburnian Warbler?

2. Lesser Yellowlegs?

3. I am completely...
Ok, added a few more to the list, I think, lets see if I was right on any of these:
1. I wanted to go with Herring Gull on this one but there is a lot of red on the end of the bill so i'm saying Yellow-legged Gull...
I'm almost 100% these are both Yellow-throated warblers...am I right?

thanks in advance!
just got back from 6 days of kayaking from Marco Island to Everglades City, saw a good number of birds, including a common loon in West Bay pass during slack tide...I'm new to this so the shorebirds still confuse me, I know the semi-palmated pipers, sanderlings, and ruddy turnstones...but what...
This was from Corkscrew a week ago, pretty sure its a Great Crested but can't be 100% on it...

Oh I know this is easy for a true birder but as I am just starting out...well, lets just say flycatchers are tough, sparrows are worse, for me...any help would be appreciated!

This is my first post on this forum, I'm new to birding in general so I'm sure I'll be asking for ID often...there always seems to be few a I can't figure out.
Just got back from 4 days in the Dry Tortugas, it was a fish and dive trip but I did get a little time to stalk about Fort Jefferson...
