I have limited knowledge of Dragonfly's etc, but i saw this at Swallow Pond Northumberland the other day. Typically had the wrong lens, and the weather was gloomy so apologies for the photo.
I cant find a match in either of my Dragonfly ID guides, so im left wondering if this is something newly...
On a recent trip to Nolfolk i found this unusual spider, Araneus marmoreus var. pyramidatus female + what i believe is a migrant Hawker in its web.
The site was hickling broad.
Does anyone know if a comprehensive list has been drawn up of Orchids found in Northumberland ? I believe there are somewhere in the region of twenty species and some subspecies and hybrids.
regards brian.
Pretty new to the world of moths, and i wonder if anyone can id this.
Found on Heather in Northumberland, i thought it might be a Latticed Heath.
Any info gratefully received.
regards brian.
