Ed, I have a deaf mute friend ,who is an agnostic, dyslexic, insomniac, and after looking through a new pair of the Swarovisions, with the "globe effect"stayed up all night wondering if there really was a "dog"
Was watching this auction and was wondering if the Green Police doesn't apply to bins made in Japan?Or I should say bins SOLD in Japan..
"features exactly the same optical formula, brightness, clarity and performance as the newest Nikon Premier 8x42 LX L

Hmmmm....I have the 7x32 ed2's with the updated baffles and don't notice any flare or bright disc issues, but then again I saw Hendrix live so maybe my eyes don't dialate as much anymore.(I think it's age and not because I saw Hendrix)
I have deep set eyes and the zen 7x36 just barely fit into my sockets. The Leupolds were easily an 1/8" larger in diameter, and would sit up on the socket bones.Very uncomfortable for me.The Zens also blew them away optically. The pair of 10x32 Leupolds I had were not that sharp even in the sweet...
Two places I've found, hobby shops and mill supply. They usually carry silicon o-rings which should have a longer life than rubber. You can check out the different properties here:http://www.sisweb.com/vacuum/o-rings/oring.htm#compare
I had the 10x32 HD's and didn't like them.Too heavy, eyecup way too large, and optics just on par with the Minox 10x42 bv's. The Leupolds were larger, and heavier than the Minox's.
Well I've cleaned out all but 5 pair and 2 will be going soon.So just as I'm thinking I'm purging my optical needs I realize I don't have a decent pair for star gazing. Now I can't ID a star without a good pair of optics can I?Whew......(shakes are stopping)......
Welcome to the bird forum Michael. If you're interested,I have a new pair of 10x32 GR HD's that I will let go for cheap.Found I can't hold 10x steady anymore.
The reason I asked is that for years all I used was a cheap pair of Bushnell Falcons 7x35 and I was compleatly satisfied with them....til someone handed me a pair of Nikon SE's to look through.
Ronh,I have no problem avoiding that droplet..(I know how many Chupacabras are in that drop)...but I agree with your prior paragraph.
I think your philosophy of life is in that paragraph....and it's much like my own...so may I ask you this? What's the secret of gravity???...Always wanted to...
Just for a reference I spent $50 on a 50mw green laser last week to test my bino's that have Fluorite lenses.Had to get it from England as 5mw is the strongest allowed by law here.So by importing it I'm breaking the law to own something I'll probably only use once or twice."But your...
