    It will be used from stationary position so weight is not an issue, the 15x60 is 1,5 kg if I’m not mistaken, works just nice for short periods. I also have a FL 7x42 and had a 8x32 FL. I like the old Zeiss very much. Made in Germany. Old school.

    Nice collection! I use a Zeiss 15x60 alongside the Leica but would love to add a Swarovski and Nikon as well to my collection. I’m in the proces of acquiring a 10x56 at the moment. A Zeiss FL, just for good luck 😉

    You are very welcome Andy, no problem at all. If had time i would also include a ruler on the pictures but I’m too busy lately with work.     Yes the ”new” eyecups made it a completely different experience. I’m almost sure Leica will send you a new set for free.

    Left eyecup is the ”normal” 12x50, right one the 7x42 1. Both max extended (the 7x 4 clicks) 2. 12x eyecup max, 7x 3 clicks extended 3. 12x max extended, 7x minimum extended 4. Both minimum extended

    I put the eyecups of my 7x42 UVHD on my 12x50 UVHD+ Top picture: maximum extracted position of the standard eyecups Middle picture: Maximum extracted position of my 7x42 UVHD eyecups placed on the 12x50 Last picture: minimum distance with this configuration (glass wearers be aware).

    Welcome back to the Leica club. I also have the UVHD+ for a few months now and only after i put the eyecups of my 7x42 HD with 5 clicks on it i really fell in love with this binocular. Im sure that if you contact Leica they will provide you a set. Have to get a set for myself for the 7x42 now...
