    exotic looking moth - UK

    I was in my granddad's garden in wigan. he lives very close to woodland and farmland. the moth was the size of a 5 pence piece, black/dark red body and wings. it had a yellow flash over both wings. It had antennae 2 or 3 times the size of it's body. I think it was a moth, but I'm not sure
