Who is still viewing through Victory HT 42s?

I purchased my 10x42 Zeiss Victory HT new from Eagle Optics in 2013 and have loved them ever since. I've never felt the need to switch to any other binoculars made by anyone else since and probably never will.

    Something new from Zeiss ?

No big deal, I've done the same. :-)

    Something new from Zeiss ?

Sorry, adhoc, but as I said above, I can't remember where I read it but will let you know if I find the source again. I usually bookmark information like that but didn't this time. 😐

    Something new from Zeiss ?

Where is Dennis? I bet Dennis would ante up the $7,000.00+ for a pair. What say you, Dennis? 😃

    Something new from Zeiss ?

Didn't one of the head honchos at Zeiss make a statement not long ago that they had glass available that is superior to anything else ever made but it would drive the cost of binoculars to over $7,000.00 so it's cost prohibitive? I know I read that somewhere but can't recall right now. I believe...

    Something new from Zeiss ?

Zeiss owns the glass company to make it happen so I predict they will. 👍🏼

Have you compared the best Kowa (Genesis Prominar XD) side by side against the best Zeiss (Victory SF)?

I compared the Kowa 10.5x44 to my Zeiss HT 10x42 in 2013 and went with the Zeiss because I liked the overall features like the focusing wheel, Abbe Konig prisms, overall handling, and lessor weight a bit better. Glasswise, I thought the Kowa was outstanding and was very close in quality to my HT.

Better Case for Zeiss Conquest 10x42 Binocs?

This one by FHF Gear would be the best for heat. https://www.fhfgear.com/products/fob-bino-harness.html?lang=en_US&dwvar_fob-bino-harness_color=coyote-brown&cgid=fhf-gear&persistUserId=MTa1b61d95636fcd7b

Better Case for Zeiss Conquest 10x42 Binocs?

I prefer cases like AGC, FHF Gear, and KUIU. I've used an Alaska Guide Creations case for my Zeiss HT binos for the past 10 years and counting. It's fairly lightweight, rugged, and keeps the dust out. All three cases have a harness that allows you to keep your binoculars protected in the case...

Why Does Zeiss Still Use 42mm HTs in their Marketing?

I still love my 10x42 HT I got from Eagle Optics in 2013 and have never seen anything yet that I wanted more. Its 95% light gathering ability has never been equaled so why switch?

KOWA TSN-99 PROMINAR and KOWA TE-80 XW- Binomania preview!

While I love Zeiss and Swarovski binoculars, I have been waiting on a Kowa Spotting Scope like this one for the past 10 years and now it's here. 👍 The only problem for now is I have an expensive rifle on order. Heck with it, I'm gonna save up and get this scope too. Swarovski and Zeiss who?

    Kowa 883 vs Swaro ATS80HD

sur-akk, you made the right choice going with the Kowa. Nothing matches the Fluorite lens quality of the Big Kowa. Nothing!

Sure wish Zeiss would build a 15x54 HT.

    Thoughts ? on Binocular Colors

The main reason that you wouldn't want an orange or red binocular for birding is birds can see in color as we do and probably better. I hunt wild turkey and they can see colors at incredible distances. I would not mind an orange binocular for hunting but wouldn't have much success with it...

John, Thanks for the link on Swarovski. That's the most interesting info on Swarovski I've ever read. (y) I added it to my favorites bar. Thanks again!

I assume the NL Pure has Schott glass but have never read that it does. Does anyone know for sure?

    New Kowa products 2021?

NL 10X42 vs NL12X42. What would you choose?

I would have to go NL 12x42 since I have HT 10x42 already and will never sell them.

    NL Pure 'problems'.

This thread has cautioned me about buying a pair of NL 12X42s. Was thinking about getting the NL or another Mako fly reel. Might have to go with the Mako.

Is it really worth buying an NL 8x42?

Guys, an obsolete binocular is unacceptable. You know the remedy; do something about it. :) It's only money and you're a long time dead in the end.

Is it really worth buying an NL 8x42?

I looked at a 10x42 NL at Cabelas and thought they were fantastic. I noticed the huge FOV and clarity right away. I will probably get the 12x42 NL since I have the 10x42 HT. Don't really need the NL since my HTs are just fine but can't stand not owning the latest and greatest. I never once...
