    Detachable aiming device

I see that there is now included a detachable aiming device for the tsn 880 series scopes. Does anyone know if it will fit any other models and if so how to go about getting one or more.

    Red dot sight

Has anyone thought of mounting a small red dot rifle sight to their spotting scope for finding a subject quicker. I'm thinking of the idea of mounting a piece of aluminum angle, to the scope base, then a short piece of pictanny rail to mount a red dot sight. I think it would make aiming my...

    Asahi Pentax

I have an old set of Ashai Pentax 8x40 widefield binoculars that I purchased in an USAF BX in Izmir, Turkey back in 1973. The only thing I don't like about them is the short eye relief, as I wear glasses. Last night I was playing with them looking across our living room watching a couple of...

    Ball Head

Just picked up a Manfrotto XPRO ball head off ebay at a good price. Swapped out the 500 fluid head and find the XPro much more compact. I am surprised at how steady,, and the smoothness. will have to compare for following a moving subject.

    iPhone 7 case

Can anyone suggest a protective case for the iPhone 7, that could be easily removed so the phone can be used in a digiscoping adapter. I currently have an Otterbox defender which gives great protection, but would be very difficult and inconvenient to remove and replace

Manfrotto 323 adapter on 500 FLuid head

I am wanting to use the smaller Manfrotto 323 adapter with the 200Pl plates for my spotting scope on a 500 fluid head using the 500pl long plate. My reasoning for this is 1 the 200 pl plate is much shorter and i can use more easily on my camera and 2, i have a scope stand that clamps to a...

    new tripod.

I have been researching tripods the last few days, really wanting a quality unit with a geared center column, and found all to be rather pricy. I got lucky today and found a Manfrotto MT057C3-G Carbon Fiber Tripod at EuroOptic.com for $650 US. Most places including eBay show them in the mid...

    Quick release tripod mount

I use my spotting scope for both target shooting and for some backyard birding and other wildlife viewing. When shooting I use a stand that clamps to a bench so like a mount that allows for quick scope change from that stand to my tripod. I have been using a QD mount called a Kentucky...

    New Tripod and Head

I had just spent a bit too much on a new Kowa TSN=664m and 30x wide angle lens. I was looking at tripods and this one popped up , a Manfrotto 190go carbon fiber, 4 piece legs with twist locks which I prefer since buying a rather basic tripod back in 1973 when I was stationed with the USAF in...

    TSN 664m roatating body

I just got my new TSN 664M, straight through view scope. It has a ring and lock screw like for one of the angled eyepiece scopes. Is the body on this scope supposed to rotate? The body on this one is extremely tight and I don't think I shall be trying to rotate it.

    Jeff in E. Texas

I have been researching and looked through a Kowa TSN 82sv and was impressed, but was turned off by the size. After some more reading i settled on a Kowa TSN 664. Most of my use will be at the range looking at bullet holes, and no more than I use a scope I find a straight through view to be...
