    Redpolls, West Sussex

A redpoll question again, this time at Warnham, West Sussex yesterday. This individual was by far the palest of a small group of ~4 birds, and I'm wondering if we might have another Mealy on our hands...

    Gull, Buckinghamshire

At a pond in a residential area of Milton Keynes yesterday. A friend I was birding with reckoned this might be a Yellow-Legged candidate, but I'm less sure. You can't really tell from the photo as its quite overexposed, but the back colour was definitely a shade darker than any of the herring...

    Flycatcher, Southern Spain

In a park in the outskirts of Seville this week. Fairly sure this is a pied flycatcher (there were plenty around), but it just seemed a bit chunkier than the others...?

    Sri Lanka Prinia

Hi all, found this bird listed in my records as a Jungle Prinia, but I think that's probably wrong; looks more like a Plain (White Browed) Prinia to me? Photo taken February 2017, on wires by the road near Sigiriya

    Goose, West Sussex, UK

Saw this at Arundel WWT today (from the Ramsar hide, not in the zoo part...) and I cannot for the life of me think what this could be if not a cackling goose? I have many photos of it and a recording of it calling... interested in your thoughts! It flew in about 3pm calling furiously, and was...

    Duck, Hampshire

From Langstone Harbour a few days ago. Didn't pay it much attention at the time, but these photos make it look like a female merganser sp.? I wondered if it waspossible to narrow it down further. Bird was on the sea, so I wonder if red-breasted is more likely? Apologies for the dire photo!

    Gull, Hampshire UK

A fellow birder thought the gull bathing and flying in his video might be Caspian or hybrid Caspian, I wondered if anyone here had any thoughts? At the gull roost at Blashford Lakes yesterday.
