    Virginia or King/Clapper Rail?

the lack of white on the sides and more orange in the neck ( grayer head)put it more clapper. Then amount of Alternifora spartina in the picture lends to more salty habitat. The father away from freshwater should be clapper, but with that said we captured less than 5% hybrids by appearance and...

    Hummingbird, Texas

The Rufus should show orange on the upper tail feathers, below the tail coverts. Then on the flanks under the wing down ward, this is some times hard to see. Yes, the lack of sound should rule out Rufus as well.

    Hummingbird, Texas

I would guess that it is an immature black chinned Hummer, I see no orange on the upper tail on the second photo of second set or under parts near the wings in the first pic.

It is roughly $141.00 per person annually. This is not looking at private lands or club ownership, a...

Thanks for the well thought out comments and opinions. My intent was not to drive a wedge, but a better understanding. It is good see the passion for the sport. I placed the two main acts that draw funds from hunters activities, the federal duck stamp and Pittman Robertson act. I have yet to...

It...
