    Plain prinia at Diyasaru Uyana - Wet land park

    The plain prinia, or the plain, or white-browed wren-warbler is a small warbler in the Cisticolidae family. It is a resident breeder in Sri Lanka and I have taken this snap at Diyasaru Uyana Wet land park one of the best places to watch birds close to the Colombo.

    Common Hoopoe spotted at Bundala National Park, Sri Lanka

    I have spotted a Common Hoopoe at Bundala National Park during my recent visit in November. It was located just outside the park entrance and we were lucky to get close to it to take this nice photo.
