    Quite possibly. I originally thought pied puffbird. Seems like the most likely candidate. However it seems to lack the thin white eyestrip.

    Haven’t been able to identify this bird for a while now. The angle and image quality is poor but it’s clear that the bird has a black cap and band around the chest. It appears to be a type of flycatcher species but I’m not certain..maybe an eastern kingbird? Ideas welcome. Image taken outside...

    Ibis, Sandpiper, Cormorant and Tern ID help (Cancun, Mexico)

    A recent trip to Mexico I observed this ibis, tern (bottom right of pic) and cormorant on a neighbouring lake to my hotel, all of which I need help in identifying. I assume the ibis is a white ibis? I’m also unsure of the ID of sandpipers found on the beach.
