    Spring migration 2021

    I just spotted a whole bunch of mergansers at like, 2 or 3 nearby reservoirs in my area last week! But no loons yet... (I'm on an annual loon search right now, actually. Been doing those every year since after my first sighting from way back in 2009!)

I have definitely heard their wailing call while out searching for them in some years, although I don't know if I ever heard their tremolos or not...I'm kind of within their migration range, you know?
