Never tried it but, is there a big difference between 60 and 75? And also I've heard that the FOV isn't as good either.

Big Brother of my Kowa TSN-99a

T That is great to know, it looks like the only proffesional spotting scope setup willing to let up more than 140x.. 4700$ is a really big investment definitely worth it right?

Big Brother of my Kowa TSN-99a

Good to know, FOV is very small as i expected, with both extenders i would assume that the brightness is cut down by a big percentage?

Big Brother of my Kowa TSN-99a

Question, past 70x is tsn 99a with the extender still usable in terrestrial viewing? Im thinking about the more magnification for the far future but dont know if it's worth.

Big Brother of my Kowa TSN-99a

Oh good to hear, does quality degrade when you stack both kowa extenders? And for the night sky i have no idea how to map anything. Is it possible to see those clusters with only 60x?

Review of Nikon monarch ED82/Nikon monarch ED82-S

It was outside of the scope that had fungi, supposedly it was tiny water splashes at first but then those milimiter water droplets on the external lens did turn into fungi.

Review of Nikon monarch ED82/Nikon monarch ED82-S

OK sorry for the bother but you being an expert in this i have bad news, my scope is developing tiny spiderweb like fungus in the front of the lens of the monarch what do i do? Will this affect the quality of my lenses? Was thinking about some homemade liquid remedies online but I dont fully...

Review of Nikon monarch ED82/Nikon monarch ED82-S

OK my thoughts on the nikon monarch ED82s, build quality is outstanding A plus and the look is terrific, optically brightness was nothing super outstanding but it still gathered quite alot of light, it was sharp especially close range viewing on flowers insects a birder would be happy with this...

    Monarch 82ED, a Perfect Ten

Wow I'm out of luck, I usually pay it on amazon and have it shipped to my relative in the US and then processed by sending it to me through a balikbayan box which takes 3-4 months because I'm in the other side of the world.. Why can't most spotting scopes be close to perfect everytime instead of...

    Monarch 82ED, a Perfect Ten

Hello! I'm fairly new to spotting scopes. My First thought is when I looked through a nikon monarch ED82-A, I couldn't imagine ever needing to buy and upgrade to a new one once I do get it but, after reading you talk about avoiding lemons on 6 kowas with 2 of them being straight up lemons I...

Opinion on low cost spotting scopes =

Well in my opinion, for a 1000 yards any scope under 300$ WON'T cut it.. Your gonna have to save up big bucks I don't even see the Red feild rampage spotting scope reaching farther than 350 yards. Even most scopes at 600$ can't reach 1000 yards but IF you are thinking about saving up over...
