    I think you are on to something there. I often wondered why they would be more confiding than say Blue Tits and Great Tits, but the Treecreeper must have a very unique view of the world due to its totally different body position.

    Add to this Rabbit Ings near Royston, currently the top site in the county for Owls and Walton Hall, the site of the worlds first nature reserve, with the track passing within a few yards of the grave of Charles Waterton. They have been careful to avoid some other important areas though...

    Yeh - maybe we can cover some more of our minor nature reserves with wind farms too - they are going to be efficient and cost effective aren't they and they will also reduce carbon footprint ?

    I believe the regular ones in Haw Park have not been recorded recently. There have been the odd flyover records over the reservoirs in the last week or two.

    Scoter still in Clarence Dock, Leeds this morning, 10 am. Outside Mumtaz restaurant.

    Was chuffed to find a female Common Scoter swimming around Clarence Dock in Leeds City Centre when I left work at 5pm. It was diving and looked happy enough. Hopefully it will stay on a bit !

    Wintersett Smew was on the Low Lake (long western lake) whilst the yatchs were out, moved back to the main reservoir just before dusk.
