    ive noticed alot of similarites in some areas of the world that are thousands of miles apart. the northern great lakes region (northern minnesota/wisconsin/ michigan's upper peninsula & northern lower peninsula) of the US has its counterpart in the russian far east...

    i saw one in alaska a while back, it was in a clump of willow in bearing land bridge national reserve, one of the highlights of my trip. how many people (this is for mostly euro birders) here have seen this bird and are they getting more common in europe?
