    Hi Kevin, I heard the bird on the left at the bottom of the main entrance path, as the path turns sharp left over a stone bridge, so roughly the same area as yours. Not confident of separating both songs, so was probably a Savi's. You don't get many Savi's in St. Helens. Regards John Taylor

    Is it just me or does the American Golden Plover on Crossens Inner Marsh seen this AM, have a very pale if not white underside.

    Least Sand?? Savannah Sparrow??, Vancouver

    Two more birds from Stanley Park taken last week. Think they are Least Sandpiper and Savannah Sparrow. The birds were feeding together at the Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park. Please help, I've already lost one lifer!!!!

    I believe that Western Scrub Jay has been split into Californian and Woodhouses. I have seen birds in Carmel and in the Grand Canyon. Are these likely to be Californian (Carmel) and Woodhouses (Grand Canyon). Any help would be appreciated.

    Help! Please help me i.d these gulls, photos taken in St. Lucia in January. First photo I think is American Herring Gull. The bird was roosting with Royal Terns and was about the size of a Herring Gull. The second photo I think shows Laughing Gulls. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Just returned from brief trip to S'Albufera. Usual suspects seen. Unusual birds seen CASPIAN TERN sat on island at back of pool from Sa Roca hide on 29 June, 3 Avocets and 1 Black-tailed Godwit at the salinas.

    Help. I have just returned from a holiday in Niagara Falls. I saw a Waterthrush in bushes about 20 metres up river from the Horseshoe Falls.     Bird reported from Prescot Reservoir (no access) at about 2.00pm. This is less than a mile away from Eccleston Mere, so the bird may return later.

    Another fuzzy photo from my trip to America. Taken on the south rim of the Grand Canyon in April. I think it is a White-crowned Sparrow. Am I right?
