My brother sent me this photo asking what it was and I'm stumped. He said he was at 11k elevation above the timberline in southern Colorado on the Conejos River and it was hoping around on the rocks. He said it was finch size. My first thought was a Black Rosey Finch and I saw on...- RCHines

Juvenile Eastern Phoebe
Four juvenile Eastern Phoebe's were in "flight school" when I walked out on my front porch. After a few shots of them and a parent I went on a walk. When I returned they were all gone! Hopefully they'll all start putting a dent in the local mosquito population!- RCHines
