    Thank you for your comments. Yes Kerrie we get a pair as we are part of their territory! A couple of years ago they nested in the bush where from our upper balcony we cld safely photograph the nest . Building of it, with eggs, hatchlings, feathered & leaving the nest...just beautiful.The...

    The three Gang Gang cockatoos, have been having a lot of beak to beak battles recently, as spring approaches. Two seems to be ganging up against this one. Today he came down & has blood on his beak, otherwise he was in good condition.

    Last Saturday this delightful butterfly, a black Jezebel came to breakfast on the wallflowers in my butterfly garden. Indeed spring is just around the corner.

    High in the trees the shriller call of the musk lorikeet was heard. Soon after it flew down into a peach tree before joining some rainbow lorikeet on the ground. This was the first time this season one has come down from the tree tops....ahh spring is near.

    Earlier this year our garden was full of flowers, which bought lots of blue-banded native bees. Their eyes are quite unusual, when viewed through the camera....
