    Compact scope to use for garden

    I would think that the best scope optics at the best price would be the Nikon 50ED. It is still a current product but is getting more expensive than it used to be and harder to find. Currently the best prices for new (in the US $325 range for straight body only) are direct from Japan. e.g...
