    Retrovid 7X35 a viable birding binocular?

    Hi, I wear glasses so always have them down but a a few unspectacled friends have borrowed my Retrovids and none have mentioned the eyecups moving. How hard they press bins against their faces, I don't know.

    Hi Jan, Yes indeed. I have used little else since you sent it. It has been out in the rain on occasion, some heavy rain in fact. There's been no sign of any problems at all.     Yesterday I finally got to hold the 7x35s and use them outside for 5minutes or so. Not long to test them out but long enough to know that I want a pair of my own. The view didn’t give up much at all to my UV+ 7x42s, a bit less bright obviously but that could be a positive on a bright day...

    Thank you for a great update. I am particularly pleased to read your experience of the focusser. I had serious doubts about it. Somehow it's narrowness does not inspire confidence. Great to hear that I shouldn't judge by appearance alone ��

    I would rather have a 6x24 than the usual 8x25 small bin format just for the bigger exit pupil and brighter image.
