    Is it really worth buying an NL 8x42?

    Absolutely right. Again absolutely right. I often use old binoculars, like e.g. a Leica 8x32 BA. Mine was made in 1993, so it's "ancient", a dinosaur so to speak. Are the new binoculars "nicer"? Yes, in some ways at least. Do I see less detail with the Leica? NO. Do I "lose" IDs when I use...
