    I could probably do with pocketable pub walk binoculars TBH, just in case I have a few more beers than planned (which is often the case).

    I carry binos much more now that my kids are a bit older, they entertain themselves on walks now. When they were toddlers and young infants binos around your neck, arm etc were a faff. Plus you don't actually get much time to look through them!

    I just put my binos under my arm when I don't need them on longer walks, getting over obstacles, dealing with the kids, getting the beers in. I barely notice they are there.
