    Had 8 this year! The birds are: Smew Slavoniam Grebe Caspian Gull Little Owl Long-eared Owl Lesser-spotted Woodpecker Tree Sparrow White-crowned Sparrow Keep 'em coming! Edit: ooh err! Lesser-spot wasn't a lifer. It was just a Norfolk tick! Felt likea lifer though. Jason

    Latest lifer for me was Slavonian Grebe. Spotted 2 yesterday on the sea from Salthouse. Not particularly uncommon in Norfolk in winter, but I did wonder when I was going to 'connect' with them. Nice that I didn't end up twitching them out of desperation though!

    Montagu's Harrier over poppy fields in north norfolk Yellow Wagtail over my head at Choseley Barns. (And Honey Buzzard, but that was debatable!) 196 now. Whats 200 gonna be?!

    Bit of a monster day today, with 6 lifers in total. Corn Buntings (10+) around Choseley Drying Barns, near Titchwell. Tree Pipit, Ring Ouzels (5) and Short Eared Owl, all at Holme. Stone Curlew (2) and Woodlark (2), both on Weeting Heath. Nothing mega, but 'whew', I need to lie down! Life...

    Had a good 3 days last week, with lifers on each day; 15/03/2007 - 1 Wimbrel on Farlington Marsh. 16/03/2007 - 1 Goshawk, flying south over Blackwater Arbouretum. 17/03/2007 - 7 Jack Snipe on Farlington Marsh, during a Snipe count. :D Jason

    Ive just recently taken a liking to seawatching, so ive had a fair few lifers in the past few days. Todays was a group of gull billed terns, off Cley beach in Norfolk. Also saw Common Scoters and a group of Eiders (also lifers)
