That's sad news about the hide getting vandalised. Some people can't abide that other people will use them as part of a hobby or something they enjoy, so they have to spoil it for them. My local reserve of Lochwinnoch had three hides at one point, now it's down to one as two of them got burned down. -

Are the young Tawny Owls at Vane Farm easily visible throughout the day or best in early evening? I quite fancy paying a visit to see them, plus I've not been there since the winter and it would be nice to see what the reserve is like during summer. -

Interesting to see that White-tailed Eagles have been present around Vane Farm all year. I'm going to pay a visit tomorrow morning. Last report on the RSPB website was on Thursday, does anyone know if they're still around in the area?
