    Seem to remember reading somewhere that Walrus are 'handed', preferentially using one tusk for digging, with that tusk getting greater wear. So all 'right-handed' Walrus share this character. Worth checking the pics for other more distinctive individual marks, such as scratches or scars in the...

    Interesting that it also appears to be pulling itself along with its teeth, digging into the sand? Is that a known form of locomotion?

    Heat exhaustion, perhaps? It must be finding Scotland / the temperate North Atlantic far too hot for its liking, water probably close to ten degrees warmer than it's adapted to.
