    Well, but there are scattered records of breeding Kentish near this location. So it's not totally conclusive to rely only on location. I'd still not call it a Little-ringed or Kentish. Little-ringed is expected but that doesn't entirely support this has to be the same species. I'd go for...

    Kentish Plovers aren't known to breed in Maharashtra (w. India) rather they breed in the southern part of India, a bit of Gujarat and a few Northern states, and Sri Lanka (BirdLife International 2021). Although there are records outside of the dedicated range map, they seem to be adult birds...
