    Had an hour shivering in the main hide, lots of recent tree chewing by the Beavers near the hide, might have to try filming them when it warms up a bit

    Loch of the Lowes is not RSPB though is it?     When I first went there nearly 20 years ago there were RSPB folk there at weekends, but I haven't seen anyone there for years, though someone does turn up as the chicken wire was put round the bits they didn't want to end up as Beaver food.

    I find it too overgrown too and so it seems does a lot of the wildlife, I wonder if the Beavers being there has stopped any maintenance being done now.

    I saw one years ago on the out skirts of Inverkeilor, I got in a right row for not reporting it, I had no idea they were so rare up here, I used to see them regularly down south.

    Give it a visit at least once a month to see the place come alive, see the Ospreys hunting, Bearded Tits in those reeds and even the chance of a Beaver

    Called in at Kinnordy on our way home from the Glens, very quiet here too, not a single Osprey, which I thought odd for this time of year, got some nice distant views of both Marsh Harriers hunting. Marsh Harrier female by tigerburnie, on Flickr

    Had a couple of hours here today, had 6 Ospreys hunting over the Loch at one point, it was quite quiet, a Water Rail flew past and half a dozen photographers managed to miss it completely, to busy blethering lol.
