Why is Alpha better than high grade.

I think that the coating is the only thing that cannot be copied by a manufacturer without tradition. Anyone can buy quality glass from SCHOTT or HOYA, but anti-reflective coatings cannot be bought. Leica, Zeiss, Swarovski, Nikon, Fujinon, Docter each have their own very effective coating...

Why is Alpha better than high grade.

Very correct, I like that! It is a proverb in Romania: "The unskilled mechanic blames his tools!!!" An experienced observer with cheap binoculars (but still collimated :) ), will have better results at the end of the day than an inexperienced one with high-performance binoculars. But what...

Why is Alpha better than high grade.

Back to the discussion of this topic: "Why is Alpha better than high grade" ? Some may say that a 20 times more expensive pair of binoculars must see 20 times better! There are many places where this is discussed, It's about feedback from many users over time, here or elsewhere! I can also say from my experience that it is one of the best focus which I experienced with binoculars, along with the focus from some Nikon models (Nikon knows how to make the focus...

Why is Alpha better than high grade.

5% or 10% optical and mechanical advantage is not a small thing sometimes. These fine differences often translate into a more relaxed visual comfort and a better overall experience! But not all of us are willing to pay only for this extra eye comfort! To give an example: Zeiss Conquest HD 10x42...

Why is Alpha better than high grade.

Why is Alpha better than high grade. There are two perspectives: 1- is the perspective of those who appreciate binoculars more from the "reviwers" position 2- is the perspective of those who appreciate a pair of binoculars more from the "observers" position Of course, these two approaches are in...
